"Commissioned by God our Creator, and guided by the Holy Spirit, St. Barbara Parish is an all-inclusive Catholic faith community, rooted in the Franciscan tradition of Christian hospitality and courtesy toward all people. We acknowledge and continually affirm the centrality of the liturgy as the fount from which all holiness flows and the summit toward which all apostolic activities are directed. We strive to live out the Gospel values of justice and peace. We endeavor to reach out to evangelize and form people in the faith."
Objectives And Goals of St. Barbara Parish:
-Intentionally promote full, conscious and active participation in the liturgy by parishioners and visitors.
-Actively seek justice for all people and foster a local and global spirit of reconciliation and peace.
-Nurture a holy and healthy parish and family life.
-Reach out to the un-churched and alienated. |
