Crenshaw Christian Center was founded by Dr. Frederick K.C. Price in 1973 with some 300 members. Membership currently numbers over 18,000. Crenshaw Christian Center is home of the FaithDome, a geodesic dome (one of the largest in the world) used for Sunday services, special meetings, conventions and crusades.
In establishing Crenshaw Christian Center, Pastor Price in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, determined to make "excellence of ministry" his whole intent and objective in submission to our heavenly Father.
The primary purpose of the Ministry is to teach the uncompromising Word of God and to proclaim the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Dr. Price's aim remains to minister by precept and example, teaching the Body of Christ to walk in victory and to adopt a lifestyle that is beyond reproach.
Dr. Price follows a vision the Lord gave him to establish a church of born-again, Spirit-filled believers, independent of denominational ties where the Holy Spirit can operate as He chooses.
Crenshaw Christian Center is solely governed by the principles and doctrines recorded in God's Word.
Dr. Price teaches clearly defined and enlightened precepts of faith so that believers can know, accept, and enjoy the privileges and promises God has for them through Jesus Christ. |
