Pastor Herbert Rowe is founder of The Upperroom Bible Church, with multiple locations in South Shore and North Shore. Pastor Rowe's vision is to teach people how to believe and receive from God – on purpose. Knowledge is power, especially the knowledge of God and His Word. God has instructed us at the Upperroom Bible Church to impact the city, state, nation, and world with the Word of Faith that we preach.
It is Pastor Rowe's desire to fulfill the vision God has given us. That is, to impact the world with the Word of Faith. First, by developing a strong local church. Second, by impacting the world through television and radio. Third, by training ministers. We must teach the people of God the principles of faith so that they might go out and do great and mighty exploits in His name.
UBC Vision Confession:
The Upperroom Bible Church is a light to the lost and hurting in the cities of New Orleans, Slidell, and surrounding municipalities. People come from the north, south, east and west to UBC to be taught the Word of God. God has assigned men to our ministry and people for our lives to help us fulfill His plan for this generation.
The television ministry blesses the lives of thousands, and they eagerly respond to the message of faith by supporting the television ministry financially.
The ministry gifts assigned to UBC always stand with the anointing of God on their lives and speak the Word with boldness.
Because the Word goes forth at UBC, many in the city gather at UBC to hear the Word of God. We believe that God has called Pastor Rowe to lead this congregation at this particular time. The 3,000 members of UBC follow God's plan for their lives and are cheerful tithers and supporters of the Kingdom of God. We purpose to acquire the entire complex where the ministry is based and the surrounding land, for God has called it into the ministry. Therefore, we call it into our possession. Father, because it pleases You that we walk by faith and not by sight, we make this confession believing that you are able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we are able to ask or think. We do believe that we receive, NOW. |
