The Established Heart
By Pastor Anthony McFarland
The Word of God clearly tells us that we will all face trials and challenges in
our lives and this includes our relationships, work, goals and visions. Our
Lord faced trials in His own life and ministry, and we should remember His
Words in John 16:33:“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I
have overcome the world.”
Some believers are shaken in their walk with the Lord when the difficulties
arise. But you can be firmly establish no matter what the storms of life may
bring as you hide the promises of God in your heart and keep your eyes on
Jesus. Don’t give in to your emotions, the fear of the enemy or natural
circumstances .. . ever.
As believers, we have to understand the importance of the established heart.
Psalm 112:7-8 tells us that even in the greatest trials we can be a believer
whose ...heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Such a believer’s
heart is established. There is no wavering of faith. He or she is unshakable.
Remember, God has you and your family on His mind. There are seven revelations
in this teaching that will bless you and encourage you in the Lord.
-
Be established in the fact that you are redeemed from the curse of the law
(Galatians 3:13).
-
Be established in the fact that you are a new creation, and you have no past as
far as God is concerned (2 Corinthians 5:17).
-
Be established in the fact that God will never leave you nor forsake you
(Hebrews 13:5).
-
Be established in the fact that God’s promises are yours no matter how bad
things look. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
-
Be established in the fact that your faith can overcome anything the world
throws at you (1John 5:4).
-
Be established in the fact that all the power you will ever need is in the name
of Jesus (Matthew 28:18, John 16:23).
-
Be established in the fact that you are God’s righteousness (2 Corinthians
5:21, Romans 3:22).
