A Business Produced by Faith

Our heavenly Father impressed upon me to share this testimony, and I’m really excited about it! I have so many testimonies of the good things the Lord has done for me that I could literally write about them every day. I actually keep a journal to record some of them. I look at small, everyday things and praise the Lord all the time, since I am blessed and highly favored!

I’ve been under the ministry of Dr. Frederick K. C. Price at Crenshaw Christian Center for quite some time. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior about sixteen years ago, after attending one of Dr. Price’s Tuesday night Bible studies. I had never before seen a black man with a Rolls-Royce who gave credit to Jesus for his success. Even as a teenager, I was ambitious and had a desire to live a prosperous life. The drug dealers in my neighborhood in Detroit, Michigan, gave credit to their drug business for their financial gains and nice cars. So being exposed to a man of God like Dr Price was a major turning point in my life. By using the faith principles I’ve learned from Dr. Price and the staff at CCC, I’ve had many marvelous things manifest in my life over the years. I know beyond any shadow of doubt that faith works. God is definitely good all the time, everyday, every hour, every minute and every second!

My faith in Jesus and His Word has produced a successful business where I now have an open channel for the Father to pour financial blessings into my life so that I can give into the Kingdom, pay my bills, bless my family and put funds wherever else the Holy Spirit directs me. After many years of hearing the Word, I finally understand some key things about prosperity, faith and how to manifest abundance in my life. Thank you, Pastor Price. I appreciate you and the ministry. I know that I wouldn’t be in this position if it were not for the ministry.

Here is just one area that is measurable: After going through an unfortunate divorce a few years ago, I was broke and without adequate transportation. In spite of these trials, I knew God was still on the throne and that I wouldn’t stay down. Why? Because the Word says I wouldn’t! The Word says that I’m the head, and not the tail, and that I’m more than a conqueror. Thank God I knew what to do to get out of the mess I had created. I just kept sowing seed, confessing the Word, and standing in faith, knowing God would bring me out victoriously, and He did.

A wealthy friend of mine, who is also a Christian and who attends a church in Orange County, contacted me and asked me to be partners with him in business. I agreed, and my income soared. After standing in faith, the manifestation came as a result of God giving me favor through my wealthy Christian friend. Moreover, I was a testimony to many unbelievers who knew me. They saw how I bounced back from the bad times and recovered emotionally and financially. More importantly, they saw how confident I was in the trial. That’s because I was walking by faith, not by sight. Praise God! The Word says in Proverbs 24:16 that a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again. I know I don’t have to fall or stumble and accept anything the devil tries to put off on me any longer. The devil is under my feet, and that’s where He’s going to stay, in Jesus name. But I know I’m not perfect and God is not finished with me yet.

I’m believing God to have an even stronger commitment and to be more consistent as a tither and giver. The Lord shared with me that one of my primary downfalls was due to not being consistent in my giving. My planting was not consistent so my harvest was not consistent. I ultimately gave the devil place by not being disciplined in this area. I repented and my circumstances changed very quickly because I’m now a consistent tither, and I give cheerfully. Also, for too long I allowed family members, friends and associates who were ignorant of God’s financial plan and who were not prosperous themselves to influence me by telling me that giving in a big way was not the right thing to do. They would say things like, “All those preachers want is your money. Don’t give them your hard-earned money.”

I soon realized that the principles of giving were written in the Bible long before any man of God taught them, and I made a commitment to prove them out for myself, as God says to do in Malachi. I did that, and now those same people, who are still broke, wonder how I’m able to drive a Mercedes-Benz and vacation in Hawaii. Praise God! The exciting part is that I now fully understand the spiritual principles and laws of sowing into the Kingdom, and I know that I am truly blessed! My mind has been renewed in this area, and I’m doing better financially than I ever have.

I’ve earned more money in a month in my business than I used to earn in an entire year! Instead of giving just dollars at a time into the ministry like I used to, I’ve given a thousand dollars at one time, which was really a major breakthrough for me. I know that God gives us power to get wealth so that He may establish His covenant.

Dr. Price’s book, The Purpose of Prosperity, is an excellent book that helped me to receive powerful revelation in this area. I highly recommend this book to other Christian entrepreneurs, or anyone in the body of Christ who desires to live a more abundant life in Christ.

In closing, I’d like to again thank Dr. Price and the outstanding pastoral staff at CCC for teaching me the uncompromising Word of God. The Word says, “The blessing of the Lord makes me rich and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). God is not finished with me yet, but I’m glad that the truth that I do know and that I have put into action thus far has made me rich.
